Loss Mitigation Representative
One of our Des Moines based clients, a leader in the industry, is looking for a Loss Mitigation Customer Service Representative. This person will be responsible for interacting with customers over the phone who are in the delinquent stage regarding their mortgage. The hours will be Monday through Friday (9am-6pm, 10am-7pm, 12-9pm) with a Saturday rotation.
On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for taking inbound calls from customers who are in the loss mitigation stage of their mortgage. Often times, these calls with be status calls, so this person is responsible for looking up the status of the modification and walk the customer through the appropriate steps. This person must also document any notes into the computer to keep the customer's profile up to date.
To be qualified for this position, individuals should have excellent customer service skills. They should also have good computer skills as documentation is a crucial step of the modification process. Lastly, they need to be a multi-tasker, as they are expected to navigate through several screens quickly to efficiently handle the customer's questions and concerns.
This position is expected to be a contract to hire. This means individuals with outstanding performance and attendance may potentially have the opportunity to go full time with the company. Interviews will be scheduled according to the client.
